Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information RunSolo collects, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect the minimum information needed to run the site and our newsletter.

  • Email address: when you subscribe to our newsletter through a form on this site.
  • Usage data: pages visited, time on page, device type, approximate location — collected via Google Analytics 4 only if you consent to analytics cookies.
  • Cookies: small files stored in your browser (see section 5).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Newsletter delivery: your email is stored with Beehiiv and used only to send you the newsletter you signed up for.
  • Traffic analysis: Google Analytics helps us understand which content is useful and how to improve the site.
  • Service operation: necessary cookies keep the site working (navigation, consent preferences, theme choice).

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third parties. Each has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle your data.

  • Google Analytics 4 — anonymous traffic analytics. Data may be processed in the United States.
  • Beehiiv — newsletter hosting and delivery.
  • Vercel — hosting infrastructure for this website.
  • Affiliate partners — when you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase, the partner may set a cookie to attribute the referral to us. We do not receive your personal data from these partners, only aggregate referral data.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We rely on your consent for analytics cookies and newsletter subscriptions, and on our legitimate interest in running the website for necessary cookies and basic operation.

5. Cookies and How to Manage Them

We use three kinds of cookies:

  • Necessary: always on. Stores your cookie preferences and theme choice.
  • Analytics: off by default. Enabled only if you click "Accept All" or toggle Analytics on. Used by Google Analytics.
  • Marketing: off by default. Currently unused — reserved for future advertising features. Enabled only if you opt in.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer of any page.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data (the "right to be forgotten")
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter — every email has an unsubscribe link
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, email us at runsolo.team@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

Newsletter subscribers: we keep your email until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to Google's default retention policy (14 months).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
